EXPERTISE + BACKSTORY

Chandler brings experience as both a consultant and an executive. Prior to launching Renegade, Chandler served as the CEO of Experience Early Learning, a for-profit social enterprise providing education curriculum and resources to preschoolers around the world. Chandler also spent more than a decade as the COO of First Book, where he led global operations and oversaw the distribution of more than 165 million new books—valued at over $1 billion—to children in need. Prior to First Book, Chandler was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on strategy, marketing, organizational design, and change management. Chandler has developed public-private and cause-marketing partnerships with more than 15 Fortune 500 companies, including Coca-Cola, Disney, Ford, New York Life, Pizza Hut, Ralph Lauren, Target and others. 

 

Chandler graduated magna cum laude from Harvard with a concentration on social change in American History. He also holds an MBA from Stanford where he focused on social impact efforts. Chandler enjoys scuba diving, meditation, and looking under rocks with his husband and their young children in Washington, D.C.
